Blow Molding Machine Selection Guide: WLA / WLU / WLP / WLC

Start from the article requirements, then discuss the machine series. Volume is the starting point; material, layer structure and output belong in the same requirements package.

Look at the article first, then discuss the series

WLA is the accumulator-head series; the confirmed article-volume range for standard machines is 30–200 L, excluding customized projects. WLU is the continuous extrusion series. WLP is the multi-layer co-extrusion series. WLC is the Customized series. Series names provide a starting point for discussion and do not replace model-specific confirmation. Capacity for WLP and WLC is confirmed per machine model; WLP layer count is confirmed per machine model and configuration.

Write down four clear items

  • Volume and geometry: provide drawings, target volume, weight and service conditions.
  • Materials: state the grade, regrind situation and known processing requirements.
  • Layer structure: state mono-layer or multi-layer needs and the target packaging performance.
  • Output: write the target throughput, shifts and site constraints; avoid inferring station count from annual volume alone.

Form a confirmable proposal

Finally, review the article, mold, materials, machine configuration and acceptance conditions together. Accuracy, energy and output figures in a proposal should state the configuration, test method and applicable conditions before they become acceptance criteria.

Discuss your product with Waley

Send the product drawing, material, target weight and production requirements. Machine configuration, test conditions and commercial terms are confirmed item by item in the project proposal.
